All About Georges

We have been a registered charity playgroup since 1997 and had many children join us throughout the years. With decades of combined experience, everyone at Georges has a passion for the role.

Georges Playgroup offer Toddler and Preschool sessions, taking children from 2 years old up until they transition to primary school.

We provide a range of activities for children, supporting them in their early development, at their own pace.

Our Curriculum

Georges Playgroup follow the Early Years Foundation Stage 2020, supported by Birth to 5 Matter 2021.

Our aim is to support individual learning and development by providing children with the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge, by exploring and understanding the world around them. We believe that children grow and develop when they have access to well thought out learning environment, with the support of well trained and passionate, educators.

Children learn best when they are happy and engaged; by offering both child and adult led opportunities, indoors and out, children develop their skills and knowledge.

Our focus is based solely on the children in our setting, supporting them in their early development, to ensure they make the most of every opportunity and fulfil their growing potential, along with promoting and encouraging their independence and creativity.
